They are quite delicate Dawn but not grey could it be Thalictrum Flavum Glaucum you have? That has yellow flowers and greyish foliage I grow that too and do remember collecting seed but can't remember whether it was for you mmmm , mines not quite in flower yet.

I think mine could be your Thalictrum Flavum Glaucum. The flower buds have a yellow tinge and at the momemt have a tall single flower stem, ive googled and the leaves look like this could be it, exciting.
