It's lovely , will you be able to keep it through the winter Meanie ?

It's Sues Amy so it's her problem!!!
Seriously though, it'll have to take its chances in the garage, although hopefully there should be seeds.

Sounds like a good idea to collect the seeds if Sue lets you have some !!

If I want the seeds she'll have no say in it!!! Unless she says no - then I'll do as I'm told!
It's lovely Tetrarch isn't it - I'm kicking myself now!

It's one of the hottest flowers I've ever seen...wonderful. Isn't it about time you had a conservatory Meanie? Put it in the garage? how could you? lol!

Thanks chaps!
I do have a conservatory Karen, but it was full already! It now has a Cantua to house too, maybe an Iochroma, something else that's secret and so on.......

now that's nice too.

Couldn't argue with you there!

You will have to convert the loft and put in a glass roof lol!

Funny you should say that Tetrarch - I made space up there next to the chimney for the tender bulbs (gloriosa, Hymenocallis etc) and the Fuchsias.

I'll have you know I was being deadly serious (hehehe)

Great minds think alike!

I notice there is a pink Hymenocallis..saw a picture of it somewhere. Ive grown the white bulbs this year but they arent near flowering yet.

Good luck with them Tet - my first one has been and gone, and the second one seems more interested in producing offsets.
I tried several times in the past and got nowhere - this year is the first time that I've had success!

I think you shall have to have a large heated greenhouse then meanie, or another Conservatory on a different wall. Actually, I would like that too, I love Conservatories because I get SAD in the winter time and they let me access daylight. Hmmm..thinks.....:))
