My air plant tree.

I started with these in 2004 as a small ball. Now,a 3' blob. These are the type glued to driftwood or in small glass bowls at nurserys. Blue flowers in late summer.

It looks terrific! I love Tillandsia! I used to grow them when I lived in Hayward, also. Tillandsia species love the climate in Hayward!

Just hose them down every couple of days in summer.
I WAS STEAMING angry that a cat had knocked over the air tree. Its must have climbed it to get over the fence. Now,I have to redo it. I had stakes to hold it...short stakes. NOW,go back to Home Depot and get taller...
Cats..are more destructive then dogs. I never had problems with gardening with all my years with a dog. Maybe when I was digging on a hot day- he would help-lol,then take a nice rest in the pit he dug.
