Dawn, Just looked it up, says renown for its late flowering.
It was bought in a small pot and now its in the ground, its just got the one flower and a host of expectant slugs.

Thats a shame you 'll have to put lots of gravel around it slugs hate gravel as it tires them out having to excrete lots more slime hence why they don't go on it.

Snails don't mind though 3pence they will crawl over anything.
