Tropaeolum polyphyllum - 2014

This grows from a small tuber, and scrambles over nearby plants. Having a reputation for not being too hardy, I planted it under the cover of a prostrate conifer which gave it the perfect platform. I've had it for nine years now. I recently read that once planted, the tubers go downwards, so the older the plant, the hardier it will become.
