I've got one for you Gram...if you love pink tulips buy Angelique...they look like peonies! scented too. They are on the dwarf side. so plant them out front.
If you want a really scented tulip find some parrot tulips...don't have the proper latin at hand...mine are yellow and red with fringed petals...wasn't sure I liked them til I caught the fragrance..mmmm.
