Viburnum cinnamomifolium...aptly named as the new foliage is the colour of cinnamon.

Viburnum are so diverse and some of the evergreen ones are very useful. I have a Tinus which has now been flowering for six months solid! Even in the worst of the winter it carried on. This one is a lesser known var. I wanted a big leaved one to grow as a middle storey plant. It's doing well. From Burncoose.

I hope that eventually it will be shaped like a tree.....I shall raise the crown as it grows taller, but so far it has chosen to grow mostly outwards!
