Fuschia, not the best year??

In reply to a question from Kath, “how are your fuschas” I thought be best to share, My first attempt at standards started well growing strong in the conservatory but then one day just lost all there leaves. So kept them going in hope and planted out in back of my small border. Low and behold they came back and although not your usual shape, they are coming into flower.
Most of the cuttings I took all did well, however when they went outside (late May) they all seened to slow down. Perhaps I was too soon? The ones on the fence seem to have given up even though they are in sun, well drained and watered every day.
This has Sangria & Flying Scotsman supposed to be jumbo blooms, fingers crossed.
Home made nest box with La Campinella.
Blue pot with Swingtime and unknown variety.
Mixed in centre, Snowcap as miniture standard, with Dollar Princess and La Campanella.
As I said earlier the standards struggled but now show some promise. Hope I will be able to overwinter them.
Hopfully these ones will do better when I find them a home.
Hope you like them as much as I do,

Mine have also not done as well this year..must be down to the weather..they are just about starting to look decent..but nowhere near the show I usually have..most of mine were overwintered in a Conservatory too,G.lad..but they were in and out like a yo yo,during June..so wet,and quite cold at times.so not the best start this year ..

When I say "I'm glad someone-else's fuchsias are doing badly" please don't take it the wrong way! I've been wondering what on earth I've done to my fuchsias that they should give such a poor show - now I'm glad to know I'm not alone!
