BACK TO NORMAL? NOT JUST YET.

Yes,it was back to the garden centre on wednesday,but thats where the NORMAL part of my work ended..THE CHRISTMAS SALE HAS NOW STARTED…Lucky for all of us,the sale is lasting for approx. 2 weeks only,by which time,we should have all the plants out of the tunnels and back on display,ready to rock and roll..Last week i moved the houseplant section to a much better area,bright,better display modules and more in the " flow " of customer " traffic " Towards the end of last year,i had set up a water feature section,near to where the houseplants are now to be found,and i hope the sound of water,along with a good show of plants will work together well and put more money in the tills,which at the end,is what its all about.On a personal note,the owners of the garden centre have told me that i can run a business on their site,but independant of theirs..Im selling summerhouses,outdoor buildings,etc etc…I hope it works,either way,im still with my plants…If my lucky numbers come up this weekend,i would buy them out…I must be MAD,all that hard work,long hours,cost etc etc., but buy i would..Now,where did i put my spare £1 see u soon

Our local GC has a 50% sale on ... most of the stock is Christmas themed goods ... pleased to see the staff were putting plants back out for display. Not happy to see so many Tulips in bags sprouting away ... I'd have bought them all if money were no object!

I like house plants. I hope to get myself a few more this year. Pitty I don't live near your garden centre. There isn't a good variety of them around here.
