About me
Hi I've actually had a garden for 7 years now but expertise only goes as far as cutting the grass and hedges, filling my pots with pansies and weeding LOL - however I'm now finding I've a growing interest in my garden and really want to make it nice and colourful but need loads of help LOL - I came across this website by accident but have to say everything I've seen has been such an inspiration.
I've recently been tinkering and re-landscaping my garden which was basically a big rectangle of grass (crucifed by my 3 young daughters and their friends LOL and between trampolines and swings, 2 stone patios at each end and a few mature shrubs and just loads and loads of conifers LOL (I think the last owners had a conifer fettish!) I've cut down 15!!! basically brambles, wild bushes and ugly looking plants - I'll post some pictures soon of the garden etc soon - I now want to make it more interesting and colourful - its west facing but has really bad soil!!! - don't have a clue how to grow or whats best to grow or how to make sure I don't kill the plants so am hoping all you lovely guys out there may be able to help.
I really want to concentrate on making the patio closest to the house my No 1 priority for now and have lots of lovely flowers and plants etc as I sit out a lot but don't just want annuals etc so am hoping I've come to the right place for help.
Nice to meet you all
Thanks
