Front Drive in Bloom

Last fall I showed our front drive after some improvements…but it was dull….

Here it is this spring…it has a bright happy face on now and the roses are much bigger already!

Left side

Right side

Closer of some of the tulips

And one of the Daffs

Hope you enjoyed the tour as much as I have over the last several weeks!

Thanks

Hywel...the snow plow knocked the fences over this winter! They are not real durable so I hope they don't do it again next year! =^..^=

Oh now that was very careless of them ! I hope they paid for any damage.

Hywel....in this area the county "owns" the first five feet into the property (Now you have to maintain it, But THEY own it) So that means the fences are on their property....my fault, not theirs! <SIGH>

Really nice Healerwitch, you look like you live near a very wooded area judging by your pics.So pretty.......:~))

Thanks Oddbillie...the contrast is what I had in mind....it was what I had hoped for!

Floribunda...Thanks....we live in the "country" Everyone here has at least an acre for their building lot. Ours happens to have trees down both sides and in the back.

Our lot is narrow and long, which with a 70 ft mobile home on it, it makes it llook crowded across the front, but there are two older sweet gum trees, one old pine and a full grown red maple across the front (the drive runs to the left side of the property and between the two sweet gums)

It sounds wonderful Healerwitch, in Britain nowadays, the gardens just get smaller and smaller! The two victorian cottagers next to our place, have had their land sold on,so have no gardens at all, which makes them hard to sell. We are so lucky to have a garden attatched to our property, I would be lost without it :~))

I am so happy for you Floribunda....I complain about this property (when it rains...we flood, big time) but really I would miss having this!
