A Short Walk Around the Yard to See

Okay as the title says….just a short walk around the yard to see what has been goping on…
This is an Autumn Olive (Elaeagnus umbellata) with a Spicebush Swallowtail taking a sip
These were some of my tulips and daffodils
These are wild flowering tulips..they are later than their cousins, with smaller flowers, multiflowered per bulb and shorter!
This is an Amur Honeysuckle Bush (Lonicera maackii) in full flower
The above two show my mailbox….the paint is faded and kind of quaint…but the Clematis is going nuts with flowers….last year it had one flower all season…right now there are 29 open flowers!!!
Hope you enjoyed our walk around the front of our yard

Hywel and Clarice and Grannysue...thanks
....the dog and I just did another walk around and found the Wiegla Red Prince in bloom! But sadly I think our very wet, very cold winter caused the demis of the American Beautyberry....no growth, no leaves and stems are getting brittle!?!?! it is so sad to lose her....:o(
