Irish Eyes Standard Rose

Well today was a sad day today ive had to dig up this beautiful rose..the amount of suckers that were spreading out of the bottom was getting ridiculous…..So of came the suckers and up came the roots of the rose with the main stem which had died….It was a shame really because i had so many lovely Roses in which i have won prizes for of this standard rose.it was a shame to loose it.
So now all the area where it was has been dug over by my lovely son and new plants planted by him and no another rose was not put in its place

When it happened to me the GC called it 'reversion' and replaced the 3 Standards. Worth a try.
