Well our argos mower has just had it now hubby has gone to b and q to get nice size mower for £45 with grass box at the back…So i daresay my son will be trying it out when they get back from chelmsford

Oh I'm so glad I got rid of the grass .... no worrying about mowers for me lol :o) I hope you're satisfied with your new one ... The grass box will save a lot of work.

Its an electric one snoopdog so its not too bad ...he did try it out last night on the 3 lawns ....the motor had gone on the other one and this sort of thing always happens after the guarentee has run out

With regards to the difference between power and hand push mowers, if you purchase a decent hand push one they are far better than a power one. You walk the same distance, walk at the same speed, haven't the worry about cables, they weigh 10 times less, and they cut better.
Obviously, if you have acres to cut a ride on power one will be more convenient.
I used to use a Hayter electric mower. I changed to a Brill Razorcut.
