what a wonderful day.

They promised sun and by mid morning it had arrived. Out I shot, and, wrapped up like a Michelin man complete with new welly warmers (Xmas pressy) and thermal gloves (another Xmas pressey – gardening gifts are always winners!) I started pottering. I have shaken the snow off shrubs and shovelled a path through our icy paths. After checking out the state of my seeds, I tidied up the shed. Hubby Paul brought me a toasted cheese sandwich and a big mug of coffee for lunch.
After lunch (well a sit down for 10mins. really) I spent sometime in the greenhouse pinching out sweet peas and generally messing around. I tied in some climbers collected logs for the stove and pondered new border layouts. As it began to get dark I refilled all the bird feeders and reluctantly went indoors. I’m now snuggled up in front of the fire writing this blog and waiting for 6 o clock – drinkies time !! WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY.

Nice day. Our snow's all gone but I had my first fairly long day in the garden today. My first (and only to date) blog, a couple of weeks ago was looking forward to days like these when we can get into the garden. Great feeling!
Nice blog

Well done - you achieved a lot in that time! I'm glad you were able to get outside and do things. It's such a positive feeling, isn't it.
