newbie gardener just trying to learn and observe and be sociable. i may have a house to rent with a small patch for gardening soon (crossing fingers), and a swath of land (35+ tillable acres at my dad's place) 25 miles north of where i'm currently at. just trying to keep it real and grow productive organic vegetable gardens without sacrificing aesthetics or . i have an interest in perennial vegetables/permaculture/seed saving/composting/agroforestry, but don't know enough to know it's going to be a rewarding hobby and that i have to take it one step at a time. like i said, just trying to learn and observe and be sociable. i don't have any expectations other than to enjoy the grandeur of nature as it works, and attempting self reliance/seed sharing as i learn and do more. i enjoy meeting new people and seeing other perspectives. just glad to be here :)
