Igardener's Profile

Hardy Geraniums, Hellebores and Heucharas are my three favourite plants.

I love the outdoor life and used to ride and work with horses (I still have my horse, but at the grand old age of 27 he is now retired).

Would love another horse, but my garden takes up too much time. My garden is now my passion.

I plant to please me rather than onlookers. I don't do matching colours or modern design. I have a cottage garden which begs to be planted to the hilt and have lots of colours and shapes

I like to recycle and make use of anything that will be of use in horticulture. Cuttings and sowing seeds has become the norm for the last few years for me. But I still buy plants at nurseries and garden centres as well.

This year I started my first serious veg garden, which is going well.
