Looking forward to the weekend as im going plant shopping in Matlock with my friends ,we all love to see those lovely hills and wildlife and of course were buying plants too .We go every year in the spring there are so many plants in all the diferent garden centers so id better make a budget for myself and a plant list Iam after shrubs and perenials ,for lunch we go to a farm shop that has the best home made food and cakes you can think of ,last year we went in the start of april and i got sunburned it was a lovely sunny day. This afternoon i was in the greenhouse transplanting my seedlings and the dogs were all very quiet as you know thats not a good sign as i found out ,
The little bleeders were only digging in the flower bed ,id planted some plants yesterday and put in chiken manure pellets in the dogs seem to love to eat them ,so …… the ….hosepipe …….was …..very ….handy I aimed and what do you know i forgot to turn on the water so the joke was on me the dogs just looked at me as to say whats up no water mum lol

I cannot use anything like that on my garden as my dogs and cats would destroy everything trying to find the source of the smell, I found out the hard way a long time ago and with a smaller dog so dread to think what havoc our pair would cause, lol.
Matlock and the surrounding area is a great favourite of ours, I hope the weather is good for you and that you have a good time...

matlock is lovely, derbyshire is a real favourite place for me, if you have chance i think Haddon Hall ~ just outside Bakewell is well worth a visit; as is Chatsworth.
