who would have thought we would have a heatwave at the end of september, sat havin breakfast outside yesterday looks like its over now thou and back to normal started tidyin my little garden ready for winter. where as the year gone.

11.25pm and still warm here, long may it last, saying that, I found it darned hard trying to do some digging today and my lawn is going brown in places through lack of rain...

I could send you a swimming pool full Lincs! But I wouldn't know where to stick the stamps!! lol! We had two good days running Jackie, and they were lovely while they lasted!!

Still very hot here in the greater London area. Today is probably going to be the last hot day.
Cheer up Libet. Water is life. I come from a hot dry country (Cyprus) and people there call a nice day a wet rainy day.

Thank you Costas! You're right! I know I wouldn't have a garden without water, although a day here and there with a tad less rain, would be appreciated too! Lol!
