nestin time

hi everyone got blackbirds nestin in the honeysuckle but im a bit worried because the cat next door but one is tryin to pounce on them when they are comin in and out, so dont know if the nest will be successful. went to llandudno for easter it was a bit cold but a lovely break shame the weather as gone off now after the nice weather at the end of march. just planted some potatoes in a tub and hopin they will be as good as last year.

I hope the birds will be all right, but that's how cats are made.
Weather's gone very chilly here aswell. I hope it warms up soon.

Good luck for the baby blackbirds. In my neighbourhood, even more than cats, the magpies seem to be a major threat to eggs and nestlings ... It's a wonder that any small birds survive to maturity !
Glad you enjoyed the Easter break, despite the cold. Let's hope your potatoes grow well this year :o)

I`m on constant guard Jackie at this time of the year, trouble is the cats are my own, little beggars.
Easter was a disappointment after all the lovely days we'd had in March but at least if it was dry then it was good compared to some of our days at home, pleased you enjoyed it, I like Llandudno did you go up the Great Orme?......
