Good morning everyone!

I am so happy to have found this site!!!!! I was looking for some info on Tigrida as I bought some bulbs a couple of days ago and wanted to learn a bit about them and stumbled onto grows on you. I have been living in Australia since my family emigrated in 1964. I have never been able to get back to England for a visit but hope I will be able to one day! My Dad is now 91 and I am his carer, ( as I was for my mum before we lost her ). She was from Scotland and would tell me about walking in the woods and across the hills covered in heather and other flowers, dad is from Bournemouth and helped his father with his big garden since he was a child. I love plants but being on tank water it can be hard to grow too much, we do have a dam but at the moment our water pump is dead and gone and a new one is a bit out of my price range! I am saving pennies for a new one so a bigger garden is only just round the corner!
I will have some photos on soon and will keep growing and keep chasing the sheep and pony out. I really love reading your blogs and this is actually the first time I have joined something like this except for my daughter getting me on face book to keep in touch with my brother and family still in England.
Well must get out and do a bit more with my plants. J
