Have you noticed that each time a bit of work is done in the garden it rains? This happens to me and I think it’s a seal of approval from mother nature. Thanks to her I look out on good work done and watered for good measure.

More composting has reduced my compost heap to a bare minimum. A barrowful between each conifer has boosted the border and the conifers look happy enough. Now I have lots of room for household compost and veggie patch compost.

Two new additions have arrived in the garden. An old stone birdbath and my long awaited water butt (yippee).
