Hi there,
I am a total newby in the gardening world at the ripe old age of 52, but as I have just retired from my very demanding job, I now find myself with a bit extra time on my hands and have started to plant things in my garden.
It's not a huge garden but big enough for me.
I usually give plants the kiss of death, but somehow a miracle has happened and I'm actually having plants flower!!!
I now find myself checking on my new friends daily and get concerned if I see an invasion of slugs etc....I never thought I'd see the day when this happened! I find I'm a fantastic slug launcher/thrower!! A talent I didn't know I had!!
The fact that I am a newby and not only new but a not much knowledge in the plant department new if you get my meaning?
I'm afraid that I will be asking some of you questions that you may think a 5 year old would know, so I hope you will be patient with me.I can do loads of other things such as make curtains, glass paint, DIY etc but plants are a whole new language to me.We all have to start somewhere don't we?
Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my little bit on me and I hope I haven't frightened the enviable greenfingered ones amongst you?
