my bold attempt to grow avacado tree.

In August of 2012 I planted an avacado pit in a 5gal pot. To my surprise it sprouted in November. I have been extremely careful with it,bringing it indoors during our mild South Texas winter cold spells.
It has survived and is growing in leaps and bounds. I wanted to upload a picture, but have not had any success.
It’s about two feet in height now and is taking full advantage of the early spring weather now in full swing here in San Antonio.
Anyone who is interested in seeing a picture can e-mail me at jessegarcia667@gmail.com I would be happy to share a picture. And I could use some advice on the proper way to succeed in my attempt to grow an avacado tree.

Fabulous that's it's growing so well already! Sorry I can't give you any advice on how to grow it further but I'm sure someone on here will know.
Why won't your photo load? Is it because it's too big to load onto this site? I have to reduce the size of photos to put them on here.
P.s. welcome to Goy!
