I live in East Yorkshire, with my husband. My garden is very long approx 150'(feet) and about 30' wide. When I retired 2 years ago I made it 'easy maintenance' - the lawn was much easier than the many pots that I need to fill. The plants outgrow their containers and I end up clearing the slate or patio that makes up 2/3rds of the garden to plant them into the soil! I have a small 6' x 6' pond that has a raised pond with a wall around it about the same size and adjacent with a waterfall that tips from it into the lower pond. I keep a few Koi and various goldfish and carp.
