ORCHIDS & ME

When we moved into our our cottage in Brixham almost three years ago I found two orchids in the bathroom window sill, looking very sad. Didn’t know a lot about them, and still don’t but I bought a book and with some TLC it’s come to life. at last. Doesn’t that cheer you on a cold dark day. Since them Joe has bought me two more and now they are my babies. Quiet at night, no mess and they flower for weeks on end, what more can you want.
Now me, can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong when I send a comment. I keep getting an edit sign come up. I feel quite an idiot not knowing what I am doing wrong or is it just a senior moment?

It just means that if you like you can go back and change your comment. Correct something or say something different. It will disappear eventually, but soon after you post a comment it gives you a "do over"! : )

I like orchids and well done to you for having such success with them. The only one I've ever been able to grow is an out door one called Pleione.

No, joeanne - it's for people like me with 'dyslexic fingers' who make typos and then after posting the comment see a glaring spelling mistake! You can 'edit' for about an hour after you've posted a comment, then the little pencil disappears.
I love orchids too. I can't fit any more on my windowsills! they are (usually) well-behaved but out of my four Cymbidiums only 2 are flowering - the other 2 are sulking after the cold summer, I think!
