WE ARE BACK!

Hi
It’s Percy and Little P here. We’ve been away for some time as we’d grown all we could on our table garden, so there hasn’t been much to report. If you haven’t read our blogs before, we have a rabbit called Smudge who won’t allow us to plant anything in the garden as he eats it! He is a free-range bunny who lives like a King. Pity he didn’t realise that and would let us plant some things in the ground.
We have just been in the garden trying to save one of our plants. As novice gardeners, we can’t remember the name of it (see below). It had red and green leaves back then. We replanted it into the ground (as it’s one thing Smudge didn’t try eating) and it didn’t seem to like it. We have repotted it today into a large container but it isn’t looking too happy (see below).
PLANT – BEFORE
PLANT – NOW
PLANT – BROWN SPOTS ON LEAVES
GROW YOUR OWN BUNNY
Hopefully we will write some more this season… rusty old laptop is a bit slow and growsonyou wont’ allow me to update pictures from my ipad.
Bye for now

He is a lovely rabbit and I guess he rules the roost in the garden, its his domain therefore anything planted within reach belongs to Smudge, he sounds quite comical....

Yes think it's a Pieris mountain fire, white flowers in spring then young shoots shades of red,can be lightly pruned as soon as flowering is finished(Ericaceae soil ) is needed

Nice to hear from you. I hope you can find some rabbitproof plants :o)
I agree about your shrub ... and it needs ericaceous soil.

your rabbit certainly enjoys life!!!
i think that is a pierris, lovely plants, they like slightly acid soil, maybe thats why it didnt like being in the ground ~ if it didnt like your soil type??? i dont know about the brown spots, sorry.
