Karentapping's Profile

I discovered gardening about 7 years ago, I found I really enjoyed making hanging baskets and planting bedding plants in the spring. I have gradually progressed from that only in the last couple of years. So am now getting into all year round plants. I have had a few disasters and have now realised why my Azaleas died (even planted with Ericaceous soil) I have two Camelias that are I planted in the ground last year that have not flowered and are looking quite sick so I'm about to transfer them into pots.

My son and my Grandchildren live in long Island NY and last year I got my daughter in-law into gardening, now she has the bug and is doing much better than I am growing anything and everything!
