Thought you would like to see how my little cottage garden is coming along..afterall its thanks to you all on here who have answered my questions from sowing them as seeds to putting them in the ground :)
I think maybe my planting is too close together..a lesson learnt.

Being new to all this I didn’t think hostas flowered …does this look ok it all happenend so quickly? lol

It looks lovely Kate, I`m one for filling in spaces so mine very often looks overcrowded, as long as my plants thrive the more the merrier is my motto, lol. Your Hosta is doing well, mine are dying back now and yes the flowers are quite pretty although most are grown for their foliage...

It all looks great Kate. I don't think it is overcrowded, a cottage garden is supposed to be crammed full (cuts down on the weeding too!). Well done.

looking great kate, is the poppy a field poppy, looks like it could be, but i could be wrong, great anyway :o))

Thankyou everyone for all your comments :) Sanbaz its an oriental poppy I grew from seed thats all I know :) lol
