I have an acre of garden in the south west near the sea. I do love it but it is a lot of hard work. Half of it is woodland which is minimal effort, and the rest is divided between lawn, flower beds and veg. I used to have a lot of help with the garden but now do most of it myself. My partner does cut the lawn and hedges. I feel I'm learning all the time and some way from getting it right! I have heavy clay soil and strong Atlantic winds to deal with, we do have a shelter of trees which helps. We have had a very wet cold winter here like most people
