i was given an orchid for my birthday i new it needed repotting as roots were coming out the bottom of the pot. i got all the proper stuff a see through pot proper repotting stuff but my flowers fell off and it looks dead except there is growth in the middle of the leaves do i cut back the stems and the top roots as they look dead HELP PLEASE as i love this plant
