lawn -win or fail!

I have a small lawn about 4m square – might be smaller! surrounded by 2 high walls and tree. I have pruned the tree back a bit.
I aerated the lawn and removed all sticks stones and cat poop – as next doors seem to think its a giant litter tray.
I used b&q shady lawn seed, raked it in – kept moist, watered with plant food on the 6th march.
and nothing so far.
The 1/3 of the area where grass had survived from previous years seems to be enjoying the plant food, but nothing is happening yet with the seeds.
I think I will wait a couple more weeks until I declare the lawn a fail.
Infact I am going to give it a bit of watering now.
