My little friends.

I was busy this afternoon putting in bedding plants – I was wonderfully lost in my own little world, and my usual campanions, the cats were fast asleep in the house. So today I had two new gardening friends.

Aren’t they lovely and what a great afternoon – and even better I’ll be doing the same tomorrow:-))))

Lovely to have company like that, well done with capturing these shots, I find when this happens it takes me twice as long to actually get the jobs done, lol.....

Beautiful pictures, lovely birds, I love how they follow us around in the garden, such friendly little creatures and so trusting.

I just love robins don't you - their little red breasts are so cheery. I have a couple of pheasants who come to our garden but they don't get as close as your robins obviously did.

Nice to see a robin. I don't see many here.

The first 3 pictures are of a youngster and yesterday I spent the afternoon putting in more plants and he came back again, suddendly the was total mayhem and TC nearly had him. He how has a missing feather or 2 but flew off , naughty TC.

Oh no, that's a real shame. Much as I love our cat, I do wish she wouldn't hunt for birds and mice so often. Yesterday she climbed up into a large Conifer where Pigeons are nesting, a flurry of feathers came down but she wasn't successful, thank goodness. Pigeons aren't my favourite bird, but I'd rather see them alive than dead. : o ((

Love the photos Kfunster - looking at these it seems to be so silly that I am absolutely petrified of them and have to go in the house when they appear.

Oh that's sad, but there's cats for you. I'm glad not many birds come into my garden because of the cat.

I am the same Stroller - can't look at birds - they give me the shivvers lol. Another reason for being pleased not many come in my garden.
