July and still my plant's are slow .

Well my garden is still behind and what is on show as been hampered by wind and rained not had much sun of late , so I will show you what is growing at the moment .
Marigolds ,Begonias , Hosta’s, Heucheras the purple are nice and a green one as very long flower stalks on it ,oregano is spreading on my recycled bank and smelling lovely, I have and old patio apple that as some fruit on it my cosmos’s are growing slowly along with an Echinop in a pot also a poppie that is should be pink when it arrives , out the front garden my poppies are almost finished not so good this year and my peonies are turning brown with the rain the Aquilegias have seeded everywhere in colours of deep purple, pale pink, and white the astilbes are slow and so is my lavender the only thing doing well is the lawn :o) so I just hope July and August will excel themselves with sunshine no harm in hoping ! the word’s below are on a bookmark I have I think it some us up nicely .

I think your garden and pots are looking very colourful,Kidsgran..a lovely selection there..I group my pots together too,much more effective than just dotted here and there,on their own..Have you pinched one of my garden chairs,? we have those..oh no,sorry,I stlll have four :o)

It is looking good, K. Some lovely, colourful pots and the peony and poppies are gorgeous. The wind is driving me mad at present and, unlike the quoted gardener, I am feeling anything but serene. Was outside before and have woollen tights, leggings, long tunic, long cardigan and fleece - the picture of Summer fashion!

Thank you all for your nice comments that,s the thing about posting photo,s on here we all get encouragement even if we know other garden,s are better than the one we are showing which I think is so kind of member,s on Goy . Ps it,s raining again today !

We had a dry morning here but rein this afternoon - thick drizzle driving along ... I hope it's better tomorrow for us all ...

Some lovely colour and very healthy looking plants.I always love the hardy geraniums and Hostas...both excellent plants!

Your June /July garden looks really good Kidsgran. Lots of colour and the blue geranium is lovely. I bought Rozanne last Wednesday. I like the effect of the clovery plant in the first picture, with the orange flower next to it. Must look out for that for pot planting.
