Thank you . Hywel the snow cleared over night now it's started again !! It caused a lot of disruption yesterday I don't like it as much as I use to it meant I was indoors all day and I go out every day for my 2mile walk but looks like I will be in again today just can't afford to slip at 74 ? I am lucky my daughter lives just up the road from me so not isolated when this weather comes , last week she had to put her dog Dan to sleep he was 2 months short of 15 ! I have mentioned him and posted photos of him over the years he was a wonderful walking buddy so will be sadly missed ...

Merry Christmas to you too Kidsgran. We have had no snow yet and like you we do not enjoy walking in it because of the danger of slipping. You will miss Dan very much because he would have made you go out regardless of the weather. I hope your daughter gets another dog soon which you can share with her. Take care. x

happy Christmas from me too. I love the snow when it is fresh and clean and dry and crisp. today its wet and slushy. hope its ok tomorrow as our youngest should be coming home from uni.

Hi SBgirl you sound just like my daughter she as been saying for the last few days that her youngest of three boys is due home from uni she as even delayed decorating the tree !! because he was always the most keen to help !! ?

we don't do our tree until the 17th. it was always put up then as it was done for my mum when she was a little girl. it was her birthday. she thought it was a birthday tree until she went to school and found out they were not :o) its become our family tradition.
