Was an avid sports player,moved on to endurance riding with my lovely Arab mare - don't bounce too well these days - so guess what - taken up gardening. Baby beginner not too good with names. I buy what I like and it has to take its chance. I live in a very hostile environment for plants I'm afraid - 900ft above sea level high up in the Welsh mountains - clay ground, very wet and lots of BIG slugs. If I can emulate my Grandfathers garden then I will be truly blessed.
