I am 61, like to garden and would like to grow vegetables too. I am in Modesto, CA, where it gets very hot, and winter doesn't last long and rarely gets very cold. I still need to learn a lot more about how to grow plants better, in pots or in the ground, and also know about how to get rid of the bad bugs.
