Love my garden! Moved into the house in September last year. Good garden to start with but in poor shape. Fishpond - good but scruffy all round and not been looked after. Have had to learn fast dealing with that. Gravel - guess it was originally some sort of Cotswold stuff but over winter has become bare, green and not pretty. Horrible lawn in urgent need of attention and plastic shed that was falling apart and year old. Have nearly completed the makeover. Got rid of the shed. Fences painted willow, new summerhouse and two pent sheds installed and painted cream, decking laid, lawn under control with new edging, 100s of spring and summer bulbs planted (love watching them coming up), fish pond permanently cleared of blanket weed (ask me for the secret to getting rid of this invasion), old antique patio set bought for next too nothing now derusted and repainted white, old teak patio set fit for the dump, saved by jet washing and painting lavender and willow, old decorative trellises again saved from the dump now painted lavender. New border dug, planted and edged. Two tons of cornish cream aggregate coming tomorrow to replace the nasty stone that previous owners dumped straight onto mud. Gonna be busy for a few days with that lot and haven't forgotton the weed membrane. Got this far in six months.
