We have a 20 acre bush block, bordered by the Cam River on the north west coast of Tasmania. We've lived here for 28 years and have been gradually clearing and developing an area of about 2 acres around our house. Now that our 5 children have all left home I have a bit more time to work in the garden. The garden includes a large vegie patch, a few fruit trees, terraced gardens with shrubs and perennials and several areas of native Australian shrubs and trees. I've had difficulty growing roses because of the abundance of wallabies and possums on our property and am tending to focus more on things that they don't find so tasty.
