My cats Cookie and Sam love the garden and have lots of fun. They especially love to chase each other up the cordyline australis …
They love getting in amongst the fauna …
They even help prop up the garden structures …
They take pot shots at each other …
They love to find places where they can get ready to pounce on each other …
and they play hide and seek …
Found you Cookie …
Sam also wants a go hiding in there …
Found you as well Sam …
Bet you can’t see me in here …
Cookie’s found a good place to hide. Can you spot him? …
After all that play it’s time to find somewhere to sleep …
… this one was too hard …
… this one was too soft …
… but this one is just right!
Goodnight. Sleep tight.

Lovely pictures of your cats antics, love how they seek out the best places to sleep! Great that they have such a lovely garden to play in.

Thank-you Hywel, Willinilli and Lauram. They are gorgeous cats with great personalities to match! With the hot weather now I hardly see them. They seem to have a better social life than me! lol

They look the same age as my Honey and Rosie (9mths). Yours seem to be upto the same antics as mine, they're so funny but I wish they wouldn't a - sleep in pots b - use the greenhouse beds as a toilet -grrrrr c - bring home the local wild life but I wouldn't be without them and I'm sure you're the same.

Hi Kfunsters,
They will be 1 years old on 2nd July. Yes, mine are exactly the same as yours. Luckily enough the door has been shut when they've caught the local wildlife and they haven't yet mastered using the cat flap, so they haven't been able to bring them in ... yet! Yeah I would rather they didn't sleep in the pots and they've ruined a couple of shrubs when they dive into them whilst they are playing, but I can't imagine life without them now.

They are beautiful, Lij! Great to see them having such fun. Unfortunately, our cats bring the wildlife inside, including on one memorable occasion, an enormous rat - mercifully dead, as we couldn't have coped with that loose about the house! We have spent hours trying to rescue the various live creatures which get brought in.

Hi Tuesdaybear,
I haven't had that pleasure ... yet! They chase after bees and flies, and Sam did catch a bird once and brought it to the back door, but the door was shut and they haven't mastered using the cat flap yet. We kept the door shut until he let go and luckily the bird flew off. I can't actually imagine what it was like before we got them they seem to have taken over the household! :-) I hope they don't even think about bringing a rat in! yuk
