I absolutely love my garden but it needs plenty of time spent on it. I own about one third of a large village type pond with quite a number of ducks, many fish and a daily visiting heron. Fortunately he hasn't fished us dry yet. The garden is south facing so very sunny, and this year I am clearing an area to 'grow my own'. Have not done this before so am reading whatever I can find to boost my limited knowledge.

I have a good sized terrace which is a lovely sun trap in the summer but not a great deal of lawn. The majority of the garden area is water.
