Today we emptied the pool, not because its turned cold [ far from it ]but our British Blue pussycat decided it might be fun to see just how strong his claws were, and punctured the blow up pool!Hey ho, thats life! The chilli peppers are doing a bomb, toms are huge[too big, we like ‘sungold!’] cauliflower was a no-no, as was the broccoli,it turned pink! The spring onions are only just into maturity and as for the raspberries, well, the leaves are pretty! On the bright side, our weather is still lovely, sunny,if not still hot, most days, night is becoming cooler, around 24 deg.[eat your heart out those of you in the UK!!!]
The sounds of the evening give us great joy,but come the morning, when our cat [Mr Floyd] has been out hunting, brings tears to my eyes, voles, mice, birds and large grasshoppers, well, He thinks they are large!dropped at the terrace area. He is so proud of himself!! Spends the whole day acting as if he were a lion, head and tail errect, and this super-cilious smirk on his podgy face! Hey-ho thats life!!!!!!
