It has been a lovely day to day, but only managed to sqeeze in half an hour in the garden. I have got all the holes in the lawn to let the air in round the roots. The three quarters that I had done have stopped squelching now when I hang out the washing. So it is working.

Got the final quater done today, it has gove so much liverwort and moss in it. One job leads to another.

~hi Marge!
~did you ever get a plastic greenhouse?

Hi Arlene, I am not an expert in lawns, I think my instict would be to wait until early spring. No doubt some will know for certain and let you know.

I had a plastic greenhouse, my husband had packed it away for the winter, not realising I would still need it. I have a few plants in the to over winter. It blew over one day so I have had to attach it to some trellising with guy lines, so that should sort it out.

You would have lost your greenhouse in my garden today, Marge! Soooo windy! I was raking leaves and they were blowing away from the heaps I raked up. Comical, really.

Hi Marge, glad your lawn is draining. It was a lovely day here too but I couldn't get out in the garden today because of appointments and the like. :o(
Tomorrow is supposed to snow.

Hi Gilli, yes we are forcasted for snow. I have been to Leeds today by train for the German Christmas Market. As I got off the train there were hail stones on the platform so it is coming.

SoI have got no gardening done, my husband has turned over a third of my veggie bed while I have been out. That's good!
