Pittosporum Golden King

I have just bought this shrub and I have previously tried to grow them without success. The garden stall holder at the market said it was very robust and didn’t need any special care.
I think I have a bargain, three shrubs for £10.00
Has anybody grown this particular one ?.

I haven't planted it yet but I have decided where it's going.
The weather today has been very windy and cold.
At the moment we are putting two water butts in the back garden so we are now waiting for it to rain so they can be filled up. Everything here is very dry.

I found positioning is important. I had 3 in all, 2 proved to be too tender and died the other PITTOSPORUM tenuifolium 'Irene Paterson' very pretty but got huge and was just too big where I had put it. When it got to over 10 feet it did respond well to very heavy pruning but in 3 years it got to over 15 feet and I cut it down to the ground last year.
