I got the mole to leave my garden by puttin a cane with an empty drinks can on it into each molehill as it appears,
I successfully drove him out and into the ditch at the side.....never to return.......

I read somewhere or saw it on the telly that badger or foxes poop in the holes drives the moles away as they are natural enemies and the scent warns the mole to steer clear, however I do not know whether it works Mark or even whether you fancy the idea of searching for some, lol...

I went on a woodland walk with a naturalist once. Was disgusted how he picked up dried excrement with his bare hand and named the animal it had come from.
We are a squeamish lot !
There used to be a fox that came over the allotment field in the night, running up and down my path, leaving its excrement. I just flicked it onto the garden with my hoe.
If there are foxes about you can find it on the surface of grass areas.

Ha ha. Hope they all enjoyed hearing of your experiences in the pub. Maybe someone there will remember how their grandfather dealt with Moles.
