All its done today is rain but it hasnt stopped me being in the garden , woke up to find the patio flooded so it was time to get on my hands and knees and start lifting the bricks up . once they were up it was time to remove some earth and make some holes and fill with gravel , its seems to have done the trick . After a quick cuppa made by my lovely wife jane and a quick towel down it was back out and up the ladder to attack my climbing rose , after watching monty on gardeners world it was snip snip and tie the rose back . After a lot of blood spilt and a lot of splinters the job was done , after all that i step inside and my lovely wife started the nagging , whoops i had forgot to take my muddy boots off and had left most of the mud on her clean kitchen floor . lucky it was getting dark otherwise i think i could have been in the garage for a long while . I love gardening !!!!!!

We get flooded on our yard, trouble is our neighbours yard is 3ft higher than us so all their water drains down to us, like Stera I`m the gardener here so if I walk the mud in its my own fault, saying that I do have the added delight of two four-legged friends that very often get banned until they dry off..
Our rain didn`t arrive until it was getting dark so I also had fun in my garden, you can`t beat it Mark...

Now that's the good thing about being the female gardener - nobody grumbles at me when I muddy up my own newly cleaned floor!
