After a busy few years looking after a mum and a mum-in-law I have now moved from Sheffield to Cornwall which had always been my dream. I now live near the sea and have a very small garden to go with my very small cottage.
I'm fed up of slugs and snails, they always get the better of me cos I can't kill them and they destroy a lot of my young plants, (and old ones).
I have a young Cavalier King Charles spaniel, Danny Boy who has taken over my life.
I admit I am not much of a gardener, bit of a fair weather one, but I keep it tidy, I keep buying plants, mainly shrubs and perennials but as I said, a lot get murdered by the slugs and snails before they have a chance.
