Time for moving some plants

Started moving some plants around, still trying to get plants in the right place,seems to be trial and error with me.Reckon you have to be a bit artistic to get things in the right place first time around.Soil is very dry though so have to be carefull to give them plenty of water.

I think sometimes just planting things randomly gives a nice effect. Most of my garden is like that.

Trouble is used I keep going to visit all the profesional gardens, then coming home with diffrent ideas,and loads of plants, I liked the look of, but hadn't thought about were to plant them.This year I have taken photos of the garden to remind me whats there so I don't go digging them up next year, like I usually do. This year I had a plan!!! and have tried to buy more evergreen plants so that they cannot be missed,thats the theory anyway.

I`ve always been the gardener here, hubby not really interested although he will say it looks good, I have to admit I do get a plan in my head every now and again but then I see something I like and have to find a space somewhere so my plans can go astray...

Mines been trial and error all my gardening life Michael, anyway its good to change things around sometimes, otherwise how do we know what is best suited for certain areas...
