Migra's Profile

Former high school teacher (retired now). I love all arts and nature and I find gardening as relaxing as painting. I live on a small farm in the centre of Portugal and I have tried hard to make it a garden where I, my family and friends can relax and enjoy the pleasure of being out, close to the greenery and the singing of birds. Seeing the little plants grow and bloom is a great experience.
It is always work in progress and definitely not a one-person job. There are different types of soil in this area, and all are quite rough (mostly clay). I can tell the weeds are the most successful plants around here!
