I am a keen gardener who has a long narrow garden towards the North of Brighton. The garden is on the north side of a steep hill and it both chalky and shady, however this is more than compensated by lovely views across the South Downs.
I can't think of anything more relaxing than spending a long summers evening pottering around the garden and although at times I think the garden controls me rather than me control it, that is just how I like it!
When we moved to the property 5 years ago the garden was established but had fallen into some neglect. We are now slowly rejuvinating it although I think there will be many more years work before it is close to finished!
